I grew up loving sports and baseball in particular. I was born with a heart defect that went undiagnosed until I was 14 at which point my playing days were over! Not being able to play sports led me to a new passion for sports broadcasting.

After some other setbacks I began my Play-By-Play career at Wabash Valley College in 2022. I used my experience and clips from there to get my first internship broadcasting for the Palm Springs Power in the summer of 2023.

I was super excited for the opportunity heading into the summer. I drove 26 hours from Southern Illinois to California and moved into the famed Club 303 room. The first guy I met would end up being my “dream team” broadcast partner Austin Stokes. We immediately hit it off swapping old fraternity war stories and talking about our passion for broadcasting. If only we knew, broadcasting would be the smallest part of our jobs that summer.

Eventually Pat and Slader joined the fold and we spent many nights drinking tequila after 12+ hour days doing anything and everything other than our areas of expertise. Broadcasters at street fairs, data guys flipping burgers, all in the scorching hot desert. The nights in Club 303 with the fellas made it worth it in the end.

As difficult as it was, I wouldn’t trade that summer for the world. Two years later Austin, Andrew, Pat and I have all kept in contact and are stoked to be bringing you the passion project that is the Club 303 Podcast. Stay tuned for lots of great baseball content coming your way! Hop on the bandwagon now!
